Scrum Events

Scrum events are essential components that enable iterative and incremental development within the Scrum framework. Each event has a clear purpose and helps ensure the Scrum Team stays focused and aligned with project objectives.

Sprint

The Sprint is the heart of Scrum. It is a fixed-duration work cycle (generally 2 to 4 weeks) during which a product Increment is developed. At the end of the Sprint, the team should have a functional and potentially shippable version of the product.

Sprint Planning

Sprint Planning is the initial meeting of the Sprint, where the Scrum Team defines the objectives and the work to be done during the Sprint. It identifies which Product Backlog items will be addressed, who will be responsible for which tasks, and the Sprint Goal is established.

Daily Scrum

The Daily Scrum is a brief 15-minute daily meeting where the Development Team synchronizes the work done, identifies impediments, and plans the next 24 hours. Its objective is to maintain the team's focus and alignment.

Sprint Review

The Sprint Review takes place at the end of each Sprint. In this meeting, the team presents the product Increment developed during the Sprint and receives feedback from the Product Owner and other stakeholders. It is an opportunity to inspect progress and adjust priorities if necessary.

Sprint Retrospective

The Sprint Retrospective is held at the end of each Sprint, after the Sprint Review. Its objective is to reflect on the team's work process, identify areas for improvement, and define concrete actions to improve in the next Sprint. It is an opportunity to foster continuous improvement.
