Variables and Data Types in JavaScript
In JavaScript, Variables are used to store values. They can be declared using var, let, or const, and the values can be of different types, such as text strings, numbers, booleans, among others.
Syntax:
Variables in JavaScript can be declared as follows:
- var : Traditionally used to declare variables, but it has function scope.
- let: Used to declare block-scoped variables.
- const: Used to declare variables whose value cannot be changed.
As for data types, in JavaScript you can work with:
- Strings: Text
- Numbers: 100
- Booleans: true or false
- Arrays: [1, 2, 3]
- Objects: { key: "value" }
Purpose:
